Nature-guide

How about a fishing safari on top of Sirdal's roof 1000 meters above sea level, with quality world-class fish. Accommodation in the wilderness in a simple hunting lodge, in the realm of wild reindeer, or at the old Heiberg cabin: Trongenhytta in the middle of the yard at Sirdal Fjellmuseum. Preferably before the trip goes on to a guided tour to Kjerag.

Accommodation

Heiberghytta or Trongenhytta from the early 1900s represents what was one of Norway's very first really large tourism products. Here the nobility from Germany and England met to hunt wild reindeer, with accommodation in what were then luxury cabins on the mountain.

Kvæven Kafe

At the top of Sirdal you will find Kvæven cafe.

Roald Klungland and Per Øyvind Grimsby are behind the idea of Sirdal Safari and
Adventures. The two players have collaborated in various arenas since the early 2000s.

The first business concept that initiated the collaboration was an initiative from Klungland
about commercial fishing in Svartevassmagasinet furthest north in Sirdal municipality. Grimsby was
at that time employed as environmental protection manager in Sirdal municipality
